Our family's favorite place. Food is always fresh and hot. And the owners are awesome! We love Kuong Chan's!

As much I do not want to eat here due to sanitation issues I see. I tend to go back ever so often. We once saw a cockroach coming out of the seat we were sitting in. The tables are always sticking. The guys is super nice, but he grabs the utensils from the eating side and then goes to sweep and brings the food right after. The salt and pepper plate got smaller!! The girls bathroom looks so dirty, but it may be the building... the food is good. I always order the orange chicken.

First I'll just say...You should eat here. Now I'll tell you why. We have driven by this place a hundred times. Can't tell you why we never stopped,we just didn't. Last week we did. It is now my go to spot for Chinese. Thirty two years in Salem for me and I've had some pretty good Chinese. I judge it by the fact that I lived in San Francisco for five years and I ate a lot of Chinese food. In SF's Chinatown there are literally hundreds of small Chinese restaurants. It is of this experience that I say this, Eat here. Personal favs: Pepper salted Shrimp. The Hot & Sour soup(so good) and of course the Beef Brocolli. Seriously, everything we've tried has been amazing.

Chan's has good, high quality food that you will find familiar, if higher quality. I have been there for years, and my favorite dish is the sesame chicken. It's crispy but the breading is not too thick. I would recommend ordering anything since I have loved everything there.
